Less support overhead. Clear ownership of every request.
We help UK businesses review Freshdesk costs and the administration around support intake and escalation. We assess keeping, improving or connecting the helpdesk before implementing a suitable replacement, with ticket history, testing and staff handover planned.
We can meet anywhere in the UK by arrangement. A replacement is recommended only if the overall case works for your business.

A better decision starts with the actual bill.
We compare licence spend, duplicated work and the real cost of changing. Released staff time is counted separately from cash saved.
THE DECISION
Keep what earns its place. Change what costs more than it delivers.
01
Keep or reconfigure
Check usage, current settings, unused seats and the features your team genuinely relies on.
02
Connect or simplify
Remove duplicate entry and awkward handovers while keeping a system that still fits.
03
Replace with a plan
Scope a new system only after comparing ongoing costs, transition work, data and operational risk.
The useful comparison starts with your support obligations: channels, ownership, response targets and the evidence agents need to resolve a request. Keeping Freshdesk may be appropriate when its service rules or channels are essential. Its official ticket export guide states that the standard ticket export does not include the entire conversation or archived-ticket history; those needs require a separate account-export assessment.
WHERE THE COST HIDES
Follow the work, not just the subscription.
01
Incoming message to an owned ticket
Messages reach a shared mailbox, are copied into another system and need someone to decide who should respond. A cheaper inbox can lose the assignment or customer context.
What we check Map each intake channel, customer identifier, assignment rule and acknowledgement. Test duplicate messages and failed delivery as well as the normal route.
02
Unresolved request to an escalation
A ticket status says waiting, but its next action is hidden in a spreadsheet or chat message. Staff manually check whether a response deadline is approaching.
What we check Agree who owns each queue, which response obligations apply and when a person must intervene. Compare simpler routing and reminders against the existing helpdesk before replacing it.
03
Customer history to a usable answer
Agents need previous conversations and attachments, while the apparent export contains only selected fields. Switching too early leaves the team searching the old system.
What we check Define which history must be searchable or archived, test the available export routes and check links, attachments and permissions with support staff.
IMPLEMENTATION & HANDOVER
We handle the move, step by step.
Discovery, data mapping, tests, agreed cutover, training and aftercare belong in the delivery plan. The scope depends on what your team uses today.
Human support ownership remains necessary for exceptions and sensitive enquiries. Any replacement must pass the agreed service and access tests; a field export is not proof of a complete helpdesk migration.
Capture channels, categories, queues, access roles, response obligations, integrations and the signed renewal or exit terms.
02
Compare a sample ticket export with an account export where conversation or archived history is needed; reconcile records and attachments.
03
Test routing, replies, escalation, reopened tickets and customer identity with the responsible support owners before scheduling a switch.
04
Plan the final queue transfer and reconciliation, train the team and retain required history before authorising closure of the old account.
Evidence before the decision.
Supplier documentation helps us find the available export and integration routes. It does not establish that every feature, record or obligation can be moved unchanged.
Supplier terms: Freshworks terms of service ↗Reviewed 2 November 2026; check the applicable service order. Check your signed order and renewal position before exit.
